Paramatma Dasa came to Krishna Consciousness in 1976 and was one of the first pioneers in laying the foundations of ISKCON in Guyana. He was initiated at the first initiation ceremony held in Guyana in 1981. He served as Temple president for the first ISKCON Temple in Guyana from 1979 to 1992. He was a member of the National Administrative Council from 1996 to 2006. From 1998 to date, it is the Legal Secretary of ISKCON Guyana. He currently serves as the head of the Board of Education and Varnashram Development Initiatives. He supports himself and his family by developing and relying solely on a three-acre family farm. He is a facilitator of many ISKCON courses, including the ISKCON Disciples Course. In 2015 he was one of the first students to attend GBC College in GEV, Mumbai. After graduating in 2016, he was appointed Zone Supervisor for Suriname in 2017. He currently serves as Secretary at LA RGB.
